So, I'm the mom, but I'm not just biased. She was heading towards this all her life. She started selling jewelry and artistically designed t-shirts when she was about 10 years old. She sewed her own gorgeous Christmas dress on a broken sewing machine by turning the crank by hand for the entire dress, and it was velveteen and red plaid tafetta, when she was about the same age, and it just kept going from there on! We spent money on craft & art supplies, paint, fabric, etc., so Melissa could create. Dad gave her a nice camera for high school graduation.....
