Happy 1st anniversary to these wonderful couples whose weddings I photographed.  I can’t believe it’s been a year for them already!  As they say, time flies when you’re having fun.

salt lake city lds temple wedding photography

Mary is a beauty and she’s super smart, has gorgeous red hair, loves to play la crosse, and likes Mel Brooks and Monte Python movies. All that, and she’s only in high school.

I photographed Mary’s senior portraits in downtown Salt Lake City and it was wonderful. Mary was so easy to work with and we got to have fun with her la crosse uniform and stick. Mary’s mom and friend, Michelle came along, so I got some cool shots of Mary and Michelle together in their uniforms. I told them to be give me their best “strong and sexy” poses and they knew exactly what I meant. We joked about America’s Next Top Model and Tyra, but when it came down to it, they were workin’ what they saw on ANTM.

Mary is off to college next year in Texas or on the East Coast and she’s gonna’ rock it. Her future is bright.

Baby Max (my nephew) has graced the pages of my blog before, but you haven’t seen him with his parents. This time, I did a family session with Baby Max, Momma Tami and Daddy James.  I’m pretty excited about the white towels/red table/naked baby combo.  Take a look!

I offer customized baby, child, and family portraits like these and I also do stylish wedding photography.

These are the kind of wedding cakes I want to photograph, so get on it, brides! :)

Chelsey is a gorgeous bride. She had a specific location in mind, so off we went to the Provo Castle. Chelsey looked amazing as always, with a figure flattering, vintage-inspired gown and makeup and hair styled by Joell of Enizio Salon. Professional hair and makeup can take you from pretty to “holy cow!” for your bridal session and wedding day. Joell also happens to be Chelsey’s best bud and we had an awesome time, along with Melanie, Chelsey’s super-cute, super-fun mom who makes me feel like part of the family.

I’ve been dying to post Chelsey’s bridals because I just love them so much. Her wedding to the oh-so-handsome Mitch was yesterday, so now I get to post them! Wait until you see the wedding day photos from the Salt Lake LDS Temple and The Bungalow in Pleasant Grove, Utah. WOW! Until then, click on the slideshow below to see how amazing Chelsey looked. I’m thinkin’ my photography skills weren’t too shabby either. :) What do you think?

Kim and Shawn called me about 2 weeks before their wedding, saying that their photographer had bailed on them, something I would never do. I’m so glad that other photographer did, because I got to photograph their wedding. Kim and Shawn are totally laid back and totally in love, and it showed. They are also a little bit in lust, too. Check out the butt grabbing shots in the slideshow from their wedding day at the Salt Lake City LDS Temple. There’s nothing better than seeing a couple who is really into each other and being able to capture photographs of their strong connection. Kim and Shawn each have children, Shawn has three adorable girls and Kim has one adorable girl. They seemed to have already become a great little family. The entire experience was enjoyable all around because of the simple, easy-going, loving atmosphere all around. Thanks for sharing this wonderful day with me, Shawn, Kim and girls!
